The most sophisticated micro-brewery, imported from Vienna, Austria is housed within a variety of lager beers, brewed in absolute accordance with the Bavarian Reinheittsgebot of 1516 AD, are brewed within sight of patrons. The two huge coppers and brass brewing kettles form the focal point of the restaurant, and it is here where the brewing of our fine lagers begins. Only the finest imported hops and malt are used to brew these superb beers that are offered both on tap in the restaurant and bottled in 750ml quart bottles. These renowned beers are the perfect accompaniment to the traditional Austrian/German as well as South African dishes served in the restaurant. In Addition to the popular restaurant, "The Brewery" affectionately known as locally, also offers a Bavarian Tavern, an elegant conference centre (able to accommodate 150 people) and a second smaller restaurant for private dining. Less than five-minute drive, guest is able to find true country style accommodation in our bed & breakfast, "The Old School", set in the most tranquil of settings. 24 people can be accommodated single, twin or family room. Each unit has tea/coffee facilities as well as private lounge and bathroom. Scrumptious farm - style breakfast comprising of homemade muesli, fresh eggs, local bacon and home made marmalade. Breakfast served by friendly staff on the solid cypress table of the communal dining hall. All in all visiting The Farmer`s Brewery and The Old School will be "A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE"
