Accommodation between Dundee/Nqutu KwaZulu-Natal lies nestled in the Biggarsberg and is centrally situated close to the Isandlwana, Rorke's Drift and Blood River Battlefield sites as well as the Talana Museum in Dundee. Zulu Wings Game Lodge is ideally situated on a 100 ha private nature reserve with many game animals providing great photographic opportunities.

Exclusive accommodation is available for 12 guests in 6 cozy en-suite rooms. All rooms lead to a separate bar/lounge area with pool table and swimming pool. There is also a braai area adjoining the dining room. Homestyle wholesome meals are served in the "Round Table" Diningroom. Picnic basket can be arranged. Swimming pool and pool table.

Activities in the area available include Battlefield tours, game trails, horseriding and clay pigeon shooting. Experience true South African hospitality whilst sipping sundowners and Walks to see the game animals. For those interested in the savage history of the area join the Zulu historian, for an intriguing day on the Battlefields. Walk across the Buffalo River and wonder through a piece of unchanged Zululand, meeting the different Zulu families who still live incredibly traditional lifestyles.

Wildlife on site range from Black & Common Springbuck,Blesbuck,Duiker,Steenbuck,Zebra & Ostrich,for Birding fanatics we have a range of bird life from Shelley's Franklin,Swansons,Coqui Franklin,Yellowbilled Duck,RedBill Teal,White Faced Whistling Duck,Cape Shoveller,Guinea Fowl,Egyptian Geese,Spurwing Geese & Plovers.....that said the rest is up to you to bring your Bird Book and add to my list!

From Johannesburg: Follow N3 to Durban Take the R103 to VREDE From VREDE drive on the R34 to MEMEL From MEMEL continue on the R34 to NEWCASTLE From NEWCASTLE make your way out of town onto the N11 towards Ladysmith Continue driving on this road and turn left onto the R621 DANNHAUSER Follow directions to DUNDEE Continue on straight through DUNDEE towards the TALANA MUSEUM You will see TALANA MUSEUM on your left. continue straight past and turn right onto the R68 NQUTU Zulu Wings is 8km down this road on the left hand side. MEMEL CENTRAL HOTEL & ENGEN/WIMPY NEWCASTLE (N11) are good pit stops if needed! From Durban: Follow N3 to Johannesburg Turn off highway onto the R74 ESTCOURT turnoff From ESTCOURT drive through to FRERE From FRERE drive to COLENSO COLENSO to LADYSMITH Drive through LADYMSITH onto the N11 towards NEWCASTLE Turn right onto the R602 ELANDSLAAAGTE Follow directions through to GLENCOE GLENCOE TO DUNDEE Continue on straight through DUNDEE towards the TALANA MUSEUM You will see TALANA MUSEUM on your left, continue straight past and turn right onto the R68 NQUTU Zulu Wings is 8km down this road on the left hand side. SHELL ULTRA CITY ON N3 & WIMPY LADYSMITH are good pit stops if needed! From Swaziland: Swaziland Go through Border Post Follow Directions to PONGOLA From PONGOLA follow directions R69 to VRYHEID From VRYHEID follow the R34 to DUNDEE You will note you will turn again onto the R33 to DUNDEE About 8km before DUNDEE turn right onto the NQUTU R68 road Zulu Wings is 8km down this road on the left hand side The drive from the border to Zulu Wings is approximately 300km WIMPY on the main road in VRYHEID CENTRAL is about the best pit stop! From St Lucia/Hluhluwe: From St Lucia get onto the N2 Southbound as if traveling to Durban Turn right off the N2 towards EMPANGENI Travel through EMPANGENI towards MELMOTH You come come to a T-junction (left Eshowe)(right Melmoth) Turn right Continue on the R34 through Melmoth towards Vryheid Take the first turn off to the left that says R68 DUNDEE/NQUTU Follow directions to Dundee driving past/through NQUTU You will continue on the R68 going past/through rural areas of NQUTU. at one stage you will cross over the BUFFALO RIVER BRIDGE, from here Zulu Wings is approximately 16km on your right WIMPY on the main road in MELMOTH (on the VRYHEID side) is about the best pit stop!
